Globulos Party is a series of minigames also from the online Flash version of Globulos. The basic idea is that you control several Globulos (you get to choose what kind) to achieve a goal within a minigame. Some require you to outlast or beat your opponent by pushing them into a hole, or avoiding death yourself. Several are ball sports (soccer, basketball, American football, etc.) where you score points by pushing the ball. Others are more unique, such as Sumo, where you push around two Sumo Globulos. To play, you drag an arrow from your Globulos pointing in whichever direction and with however much strength you want it to move. I think the best way to describe it, though, would be to say that it's a bit like billiards. In some minigames, there will also be a king Globulos that can only be pushed to move. When you beat all the stages at one difficulty level in a minigame, you unlock the Globulos that you have defeated (there are 60 to unlock).

Overall, Globulos is a good game. The fact that it has several modes of multiplayer (local "hotseat", DS Download Play, and DS Wireless Play) is certainly a plus, as the game is much more fun with someone else than it is alone. Sometimes the game is a bit obnoxiously difficult, but the only real drawbacks are that it can repetitive with some miningames (mainly just the ball sports) and that there's an online Flash version for free. However, the DSi version is just as good, and portable. The graphics are nice and sounds are very fitting to the graphical style. I recommend this game, particularly to people who intend on playing with a friend.
