Nintendo 3DS Firmware Update Delayed

The firmware update that was previously coming on the 30th of this month is instead coming on December 8th.

Unfortunately, Nintendo has just announced that the firmware update will be delayed for North America and Japan. This is the same firmware update that I covered in previous articles and will include:

• A 2nd StreetPass Find Mii quest and new puzzles
• 3D recording with the Camera Channel
• The ability to transfer downloaded data between 3DS systems

No announcement has been made yet regarding Europe or Australia, though they will probably also experience delays. Personally, I'm only really excited for the new Find Mii quest because it will give me a good reason to use the StreetPass Mii Plaza again.
